 (full fact-check in progress).

A Polish pilot named Luke Czepiela has achieved a world first by landing his racing plane on the roof of the famous Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai. The 27-meter landing strip located 212 meters above the ground was a big challenge for Czepiela, as he had to rely on his experience as an air race pilot and instincts to fulfill this feat.

The Red Bull Air Race aerobaticist managed to bring his Carbon Cub STOL plane to a stop after three attempts. The lack of exterior landmarks posed a major challenge as pilots are usually used to landing strips that stretch for several hundred meters at airports. Czepiela had to control his flight speed with precision and take into account the direction of the wind to avoid going off the circular track of the heliport.

To illustrate just how big a deal this achievement is by Posty, as he is affectionately known, just over 100 recordings have attained that elusive Diamond status throughout the RIAA’s existence. To achieve the Diamond threshold, artists must sell 10 million certified copies of their songs. Post Malone now has eight of them, beating the tally of six songs previously held by Bruno Mars.

While Post’s recording of “Circles” set a record at 41 weeks as number one by a solo artist on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart, his other achievements include more than 80 million records sold, 10 Billboard Music Awards, 3 American Music Awards, and 1 MTV Video Music Awards. He has also received nine Grammy Award nominations.

Malone’s “Sunflower” has sold 17 million units and is now tied for the highest platinum-certified single of all time. To earmark this achievement, Post Malone is releasing “The Diamond Collection,” a new greatest hits album featuring his eight RIAA diamond songs, including his latest release, “Chemical.”

Joaquin Phoenix is best known for playing dark and disturbing characters in indie movies

Joaquin Phoenix “fell out of frame” when he fainted on the movie set of Beau Is Afraid. The incident occurred during an intense scene involving his on-screen mother, Patti LuPone. Phoenix was not actively involved in the scene at the time.

The Midsommar director said the scene was intense for Patti and he was annoyed by the in-frame collapse because it would have been a good take. Apparently when Aster went to investigate, he realized that the fall was serious because Phoenix was letting people touch and tend to him.

The director said it was ‘poetic’ that Phoenix fainted during someone else’s scene.

He told of the incident at the screening and Q&A of what people believed would be a rerun of Aster’s acclaimed horror movie, Midsommar, with British actress Florence Pugh in the lead role.

Beau Is Afraid will open in cinemas in the United States next month and revolves around a paranoid man trying to get home to his mother.

Phoenix is currently filming alongside Lady Gaga in a sequel to the 2024 hit movie, Joker: Folie à Deux, reprising the title role as a tortured wannabe comedian. Lady Gaga plays the Joker’s love interest.
